A continuous metalworking process that combines punching, coining, bending, and other forming operations.
Works with an automatic feeding system to push metal strips from a coil through the die set.
The metal strip is uncoiled from the coil;
Automatic feeding moves the strip through multiple die stations;
Each station performs one or more forming operations;
The final station cuts off the finished part from the strip;
Finished parts are output, and scrap material (including the carrier strip and punched metal) is separated and removed via a scrap handling system.
